Last Day ...

This is the last shot that I took during my stay in Stirling, as I was heading back to the laboratory I noticed this pathway in Lochness lake <-- I hope that I didn't make a mistake in the name. I loved how the photo looked once I transformed it to B&W.

Now I am looking forward to go back to Stirling and I hope to be able to capture more interesting pictures. This trip was benefitial for me both work wise and photography wise. I learnt alot and I am looking forward to learn even more.

Thistles are  the national flower of Scotland,  I searched hard for this one and finally managed to find one as I was climbing up to the Wallace monument !

After coming down from the bridge I took a short walk and noticed an interesting place which had a map and since I love following maps I decided to go along that road... Turns out that I was actually in Raploch riverwalk which  has an interesting timeline walk around the city. This picture was taken as I started my timeline walk

Stirling Battle Bridge

On my first weekend in Stirling I decided to spend one day walking around the city and taking as many pictures as possible. I tried to imagine how the bridge looked like to William Wallace as he was approching it hahaha ;-)

This photo was taken at the exit of Pathfoot building of Stirling University (from the Education Institute) leading to the University's main entrance.

Al Marneef cave

Mughsayl  beach is known as the natural fountain (or a blowhole) and is a famous attraction site for tourists visitng Salalah city. the beach is located about 50km from Salalah city. This photo was taken as we were walking down to the beach crossing the big cave called Al-Marneef cave.

Again we stopped at the young coconus vendors for more fresh coconut water. The picture is of a big banana leave, I couldnt resist the beautiful natural patterns of this leaf.

Samhram the ancient city

The picutre was captured in a ancient city called Samahram located in "Taqa" which is 40km away from Salalah city in the southern region of the Sultnate of Oman. This ancient city was an important port for "Frankincense"  trading from Oman to neighbouring countries like incinet India and Egypt.

Many archieological findings have been revleaed from this site, these include a temple, ancient money and other ancient ruins. the city was mentioned in greek manuscripts dating back ot the first and second cenuries.

Souq Al Hafa

This picture was taken at Souq Al Hafa or al Hafa market is one of the oldest traditional markets in the Sultanate of Oman. the Market is located in the southren region of Oman in a city called Salalah where perfumes, frankinsence and other good are sold by locals.
